I only live five minutes away, which is good because my two-year-old son demands to come here every day. It has three different play areas, along with two rows of swings. He always finds something to play with when we are here. Everyone we've run into is friendly, and the park seems safe and well-maintained. There are one or two homeless people who may sleep at the bus station, but they are no bother. Plenty of fat squirrels live here, too. It is a fairly quiet park, and there is a lot of space to play. Very cool!

I really like to visit this place with my family during the weekend. The children can find fun places to play hide and seek and run around and it just looks beautiful. Really enjoy taking long walks in this park. Occasionally I come here with my husband to use the tennis courts, although I have to say sometimes you have to wait for a free one.

One of the biggest parks around, it serves a huge portion of the Norfolk community. Pros: nicely equipped with playgrounds, basketball courts and tennis courts. There is a nice skate park too. It's has a lot of shade which makes it very nice in the summer. Cons: Because the park serves a big part of the middle-lowet class community it could use extra free perks for those who can't afford much. It would be very welcome if a splash pad was installed for the summer days and the BMX tracks could be restored to get something more for the teens.

Very nice skate park with cool skaters that shared many tips, from just riding to doing tricks for both beginners and advanced skaters. Nice location.

Love this park! It was my first time visiting! I absolutely love the trees. You would too had I taken pictures to add it to this post. 🤦🏽‍♀️ The kids absolutely loved the park. The play area was very spacious and accommodating. After we sat underneath the trees and just chit-chatted, we then went to the beach. It was a great visit to Virginia! Now back to North Carolina!
