I appreciate that the practice tee for this course has an open grassy field around it. There's plenty of room to practice drive throws as well as approaches and putts. In this cold part of the year, there's not so many cross country runners at the park, but there are sometimes people walking the Big Cross path the park is named for. But with the thoughtful design of the course, and practicing good disc golf etiquette, I find this course fun to play and easy to pace.

Great place to learn the game as long as you keep a close eye where your disc lands. Easy to lose in the sagebrush. Nice straight lines, not too many times you have to wait for pedestrians. Walking trails are kept up pretty well. 2023: things are still in good shape.

This is a nice, open place for jogging, walking, and playing Disc Golf. The terrain is semi-rugged with loose dirt and inclines. The drawbacks are there is zero shade so the summer months can be a challange. There is a small amount of trash and pet waist. There is the occasional small cactus so watch where you step. The disc golf course is fun and has a mix of elevation and distances with semi-unclear boundaries on two holes.

Fun course with great sunset views. It’s sandy off trail with tumbleweeds, so be aware of footwear choice. Also used as cross country running and hiking trails, watch for other users.

Fun course. No trees but still technical with ob's and hills. Not fun in heat of summer due to lack of shade and cheet grass everywhere.
