This 9 basket beginner course is at the end of the Loop Road just to the west of the Annex. The frst 8 fairways are in a 2.5 acre grassy uneven field with no trees or undergrowth. Tees are marked with small numbered signs and buried railroad ties. Baskets are numbered but #7 is missing. The last fairway is in an adjacent field. This WSU campus has hundreds of acres of land with interesting topography and vegetation. Too bad they crammed this course into the smallest, most boring space possible and then charge a parking fee.

I think this course get a bit of a bad rap for no reason. Sure it can be a little muddy and the tee pads aren't all even, but it's still a good small practice course. A friend of mine brought out that the tees are good for practicing throwing as if you're throwing on an uneven fairway on a par 4 or 5 at other courses. Our group will be coming back here again.

Lumpy, muddy, short, easy, and so much lush wooded Bess nearby going unused.

Last time I went by it didn't look like anyone was taking care of the area. It was all over grown.
