Absolutely BEAUTIFUL park! Lots of Disc fold happening, great ball diamond, excellent trails for runs, walks, bike rides and dog walks. Also Great for the kids! Nestled amidst the tranquility of the Root River Parkway adjacent to the Oak Leaf Trail.....miles off beauty just moments away from Lake Michigan, Michelle International Airport. ( Great watching the incoming planes ) There are flushable toilets and running water at this river area oasis. That right there gives the place the first 3 stars . ; ) Benches are sturdy and plentiful, really nice bleachers for ball games, lots of acreage for family outings and cookouts and.... I'm almost certain that the actual Golf coarse is about half block East on Drexel. ( just in case I'm wrong on that count, PLEASE Google it!! Same park name buy for GOLF ) Put this on your list of great outdoor experiences and you won't be sorry!!

Not sure about the overall park. We went to the skate park which was great. I did see a lot of people on the weekend morning playing cricket this is the only place I have ever been that people are doing that so yeah that's cool. When you look up the skate park it shows and metal ramp skate park and a concrete park. Not sure but I am guessing they torn down the metal ramps and made it all concrete. Adding a photo not my personal but that is what the park is like as of today.
