Disc golf review. This is one of Milwaukee's finest disc golf courses. The course has 20 baskets and 20+ tee pads each with various (average 3) pin placements that are changed often. This is a pay to play course like other Milwaukee courses and because of this, the course is well maintained. Signs are in good shape and garbage on the course is minimal. The holes themselves can be long or short depending on pin placements. Also depending on the pin placement, you could have a look at the pin from the tee or it could be tucked back into the woods making it more of a challenge. There are not many holes that are just grip it and rip it. Most of them require some finesse in, through or around trees. This course is more technical if anything. The layout can be a bit tricky to navigate for first time players but you do start at the parking lot and end there too. There is a long walk between a few holes but everything is marked and there are next tee signs. The course runs along the Milwaukee River but it is out of play unless you really overthrow on one hole. Great for amateurs and avid disc golfers. This course does get busy during the day due to its popularity and location in the city. I recommend playing in the early morning if you don't want to wait. Other players are respectable here and will let you play through though occasionally you might get behind that one group that doesn't. I highly recommend playing here and then hitting up the beer garden located on the premises afterwards.

Great disc golf course, well maintained and has a beer garden within great proximity to hole #20

Fun course with a few holes you can lose a disc on. It is a short course. Marked well except for 8 to 9 have to cross the road, 11 ti 12 is a long walk down around a walkway. My first round here, 9-under par (54).

Love this course for the beer garden afterward onlt. No dogs on course rule is a dealbreaker for some though. $5 to play. Park Rangers will sit there, collect money, and not do any park maintenance. Last time i went i paid for a friend and myself, there was only like 2 trashcans thru the entire course, there was trash all over teepads, and fallen limbs. They dont change baskets frequently enough and the lack of maintenance makes the course way harder then it should actually be. Hole 20 is a real doozie now they have a par 3 over 300 feet at an inclined basket. If you want to feel good about your disc game go to valley view. If you want to challenge yourself go here.

Great course. Lots of shade. Plenty of obstacles and open shots too. Could be better at directing you towards the next hole in a few spots but overall loved it.
