The park itself is very peaceful and has a wonderful calm atmosphere that my wife and I enjoyed. The issue being that I felt that I had to keep constant watch on our car. There were multiple people that were intoxicated that would walk by and look into our car. We left a bit sooner than we had planned due to this. The park was great but at times felt unsafe.

Overall nice park. We were sad to see the splash pad was not working Saturday, but it turned on the next day 🤷🏼‍♀️. It was odd to have the park’s sprinklers on in the middle of the day on Saturday and the kids complained it was interfering with the skate board ramps and for the adults blocked benches and shaded grassy spots to sit. Skate board ramp was the hi-light for my kids who had brought their scooters. Spent a few hours here. The playground equipment was in good condition, with the surface is made of shredded up rubber tires. I was a little disappointed too about the teens sitting closest to the playground using lots of swearing and inappropriate talk so we eventually left.

Love our City Park in Riverton! The new playground equipment, splash pad , skateboard park, band shell & picnic tables all make for fun entertainment for all ages! The city has worked hard to clean it up & make it vibrant again & have done a great job. A lot of fun happening here!

Nice park! Glad they have an area for dogs and many things to interest all sorts of kids! Love the skate park area! Only thing is missing is share over the bench spots for parents as they watch their children.
