This is a beautiful, well manicured golf course with spectacular views that we had the pleasure of playing while in town from Ohio. The staff was extremely polite and professional, and if we return in the future, we'll definitely be making a reservation to play here again. Highly recommend Ol' Colony!!

I have to say, I have met the RUDEST people at this course. Checking in was very straightforward, you pay and move on. No friendly customer service, which is okay. We are here to play golf and not get a pep talk… On the very first hole, the old man set the tone for the golf course. He began raising his voice and down talking our group because we were not told to have our receipt ready for security sitting at hole 1 (mind you, we had golf carts, so it’s not like we could’ve just grabbed a cart without paying and receiving a key)… while one of our group members went to get the receipt reprinted, he further down talked other members and rose his voice with us. It made for a terrible time as he had made an uncomfortable impression of the course.. I’ve never been disrespected so much and talked down on. This course is decently maintained, but if you want to have an ill mannered “pro” course member speak down to you, it’s just not worth coming to. I don’t think the way disrespect poured off this staff makes up for the condition of the course, it’s pretty, but I’ve been to better courses with kinder staff.

A great place for golf in Tuscaloosa. It’s also where the university of Alabama golf team plays. They keep the course in great condition and the greens are in good shape also. Looking for a great place to play golf in Tuscaloosa? Look no further. This place is a great value.

I think it is a wonderful golf course it is fun to play, it is beautiful to look at. Their driving range and practice areas are nice as well.

What a fun day attending the final round of the Toyota Classic, part of the Women's Epson Tour. Congrats to Celine Borge of Norway who won without a caddie and also carried her own bag!
