This park is a good spot to use for access to the canal path and also has some good (albeit limited) trail options in the park itself. We did a workout that alternated between flat running reps along the canal with some hill repeats on one of the paths leading from the canal into the park. There are sidewalk and hard packed granite options along the canal. Surface in the park itself is crushed granite/gravel. There is a measured mile loop (with distances marked) in the park, or you could design your own loop with a mix of flat and rolling terrain. We also saw a lot of people playing disc golf and using the various dog park options. All areas seem to be very well maintained, and we saw park vehicles and workers during the duration of our time there. A great, safe option for outdoor recreation in Chandler. Also a good spot to catch a sunset over South Mountain.

Really great archery park. My son and I visit regularly. No charge to shoot here. The bound carpet bails are kept in good order and are set in increments of 10 yards from 10 to 100 yards. Be advised, their is no on-sight management, so the archers are expected to work together and communicate with each other to keep things safe. Very rarely is their an issue. You will get the occasional knucklehead who likes to follow his own rules, or know it all who thinks he owns the place. But the overwhelming majority of the shooters are solid people. Made many friends and had a lot of great conversations out there.

I went for a walk at Paseo Vista Recreation Area, and it was so nice! The park has wide paths and lovely views. It's peaceful and great for a relaxing stroll. I enjoyed the fresh air and nature. It's a perfect place for a leisurely walk in the outdoors.

There's a disc golf course, dog park, playground, archery area and canal path. This place used to be a dump, but the city made it into something worthwhile.

My least favorite park. Nothing to it unless you’re there for archery or disc throwing. Trail is all dirt and scenery is not there except for dirt and more dirt. Even the dog park is lame. Parking lot needs to be repaved as it’s completely full of potholes.
