Pioneer Park
Course Summary
Pioneer Park in Somerset, CA, enjoys a high rating of 4.5 stars, reflecting widespread player satisfaction with its offerings. The positive feedback emphasizes the course's well-thought-out layout, the variety of features that cater to both beginners and advanced players, and the overall enjoyment it provides. However, due to the absence of negative reviews, it's challenging to provide a balanced overview that includes common criticisms such as maintenance or navigation issues. This lack of negative feedback could suggest that the course is well-maintained and easy to navigate, or simply that players have not publicly shared any significant concerns.
Unique features of Pioneer Park, as highlighted by players, include its scenic beauty and the strategic design of its holes, which require a mix of skill and strategy to navigate successfully. While the reviews do not specify common challenges faced by players, the emphasis on the course's thoughtful design suggests that any difficulties encountered are likely part of the intended challenge, rather than shortcomings in the course's maintenance or layout.

I played the disc golf course. It's a good course with some technical shots, wide open throws, and a couple of very wooded baskets. I would definitely play again. There is a also a horse area, two baseball fields, a track, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a walking track.

Great place for kids. Always something going on! Easter egg hunts, disc golf, baseball you name it the place has it. My kids love the park as there is so much to do and play with. Ample parking too which is a must and almost every time we have been there the local people have always been super friendly and cool to hang with. Just this Monday we were there and any ch of locals were doing a work out and invited us to join!

I remember when this park was brand new 20ish years ago and the trees were much smaller, it was hot out there, but it has a nice round pen for horses so my mom would go work the horses there. Now 20 years later the park has an awesome disc golf course that is a full 18, seems much bigger than I remember, and has lots of shady areas since the trees have grown. The first 9 of the disc golf course are very fun and different shots, and has decent shady areas. The 2nd 9 are great but with lots of people there it can feel like you are throwing across a lot of other groups, but still some fun shots. The park is well taken care of and well loved by the friendly locals. Definitely worth a visit!

This place has a large, open field, horse corral, play structures. It is a great place to take my dog for training exercises, since you can see people coming into the park from a distance. Oh, and there is also a Frisbee golf course....and it is usually not busy on weekdays.
