Previously the most frequented disc golf course in the United States and still highly visited for very good reason! What we consider a “pitch-and-putt” in the sport, means that it is made up of holes that are all short enough to be thrown with just a putter by most any player. It’s a great introductory course for the sport, or a good place to go with friends for a casual and fast round.

Great playground next to the disc golf course. Huge slide! Flying/parachute theme on the play structure as you climb up and up and up! Lots of huge trees for great shade throughout the day. Amazing access via the Ralston bike trail. A good assortment of picnic tables and benches for taking a snack break.

This disc golf course has a that perfect balance of having enough difficulty that you feel challenged without being so hard that it’s not fun. There are mature trees, plenty of green grass, and a creek along a few of the holes. It all makes for a great environment to play disc golf. Two things to be aware of: 1) It gets crowded so you may be waiting awhile at each hole, and 2) there’s a substantial amount of cannabis consumption going on so your discs aren’t the only things flying high.

We love Johnny Roberts! It’s such a fun course for both beginners and more intermediate/advanced players. We loved bringing new players here to try disc golf for the first time. It can get busy on weekends and after work, so try to aim for off-hours if possible. For beginners on hole 5 I recommend teeing off down the path at the tree stump because the regular tee pad is an intimidating blind shot over the stream. I love the stone crossings of the stream!

Just behind city hall of Arvada. It has a park that offers a lot of things to do . A lot of seating area and a big gazebo. There’s a big playground and some “ring toss”. It’s a nice park check it out. There’s a lot of parking area on the street and the parking lot.
