This is a very spacious park with a gazebo and tables and a large grass area for playing lounging and hanging out. Several paths through the field are cut so you can walk down to the river or take an extended walk with your dog. The maintenance is superb and this is always a great place for a walk with your dog

So much open space. Sometimes you can have the place to yourself.

If you're looking for a field and a nice sheltered area to eat, this is a great place. There was a nice breeze there when I was there, too. I wonder if it normally is that way. But, not it does lack additional things (not a playground place, etc.).

Great location to take your kids and just hang out. The field is large - open and a good spot to launch rockets or just enjoy kicking a ball around. The hiking trail is about 1.5 to 2 miles long and goes to the woods along with a grassy area.
