I went during a dry spell so no water problems. The course was laid out very well with little distance between the baskets and tee of the next hole. The trees were spaced in a way that gave either room for a left or right hand player, overall a thoughtful layout.

Deerfield is a great disc golf course. There is a solid mix of long and short distance holes, though the complexity is somewhat limited due to the compact layout of the majority of the holes and pretty flat topography. A lot of the course is played under the shade of trees, so not much risk for sun exposure. Overall a great course with 20 holes. My only real complaint is the drainage after rain. Much of the course becomes a water hazard, so I wouldn’t play after a storm.

Fun course! Built on flood plain so it can get a bit wet and sticky if it has rained recently.

Great new course in Cville! Beginners will find it pleasant, and vets will still find holes challenging. Mostly shaded, so will be good for those hot summer days. So glad Cville has this! Job well done.
