The scenery here was beautiful as always, the amount of beautiful landscapes that are packed into such a small area are unparalleled within this region! This truly is a nature lovers paradise in many ways. I just sincerely wish that it wasn't diminished by local vandalism😭

The Mr. & I grace this magnificent place every Armed Forces Day for an event called "Thunder Over Evans". At which time the space is covered with PEOPLE having a blast!! A band performs from a decent size stage & off in the distance is a playground & very close are restrooms that will have a line but those lines move quickly & you'll make a few friends!

The park is directly next to a large field and the ampitheatre. There are covered picinic tables and the play areas are fenced. There is a "splash pad" meaning water shooting in spouts oit of the ground. That area isnt fenced. There are a variety of swings including Mobility swingd and a really fun teeter totter like swikg with an adult or child seat on one side and a baby swing on the other. My 11m old LOVED swinging with mama! Theres a coffee shop across the street and public restrooms/drinking fountains at the parks.

Great public park located in the heart of Evans, GA. The park features the Lady Antebellum amphitheater which is home to many live events, a dog park for pet owners to bring their dogs, a large playground for kids, and there is currently an ice skating rink available for people of all ages to go skate. Plenty of paved paths for walking, running, biking, or skating, as well as multiple picnic areas for you to sit down and eat. During the winter the concession stand opens up to sell snacks and drinks, such as hot chocolate. There is plenty of parking available around the park as well an electric charging station for electric cars such as Teslas. There is a public bathroom and water fountain available to use, as well as multiple bins and stations to take care of pet waste. Definitely a place to come to if visiting the area as it is a highlight of both Columbia County and the greater Augusta area.

Just came out tonight and everything is lit up so nice! They even have Evans on Ice going on right now with concessions and a vendor truck.
