I'm once again amazed at the improvements the city has done to Wessell Park. The parking lot has been doubled in size and restrooms have been added. The basketball & tennis courts have been improved as well. One ambitious addition added to the park was a disk golf course. While the areas around the aforementioned facilities seem safe for disk golf, Holes 5-18 could be improve upon specifically the trails between each hole as during the fall season, it can be difficult to see the direction of the course through the woods. Other than that, this park is a nice place to walk the dog and be with friends and family.

I've done a lot of work on the course and it's a lot cleaner and define Parking lot finished and as soon as we can figure out how to get in the bathrooms will be able to use them. Up and coming disc golf course. Omj

It a nice park. But I went to check on the progress of the disc golf course this morning and I have to say I’m very concerned the tee pads are about half the size they should be (quite dangerous in some spots) I don’t know if the people designing it know this or not. My prediction for the opening of the course is LOT of broken ankles and twisted knees.

I’m from out of town and was looking for a public court to get in some pickleball games. They have four designated, well kept pickleball courts and the local crew was very welcoming. The level of play was very good too.

Beautiful place and very fun disk golf course that me and my buddy go to every week at least once or twice. Got a nice park for kids, tennis and basketball ball courts that are good too but I don't play either. There is a lot of people that go so if its what u like to do, you'll always have someone to play with. Would recommend to any family or group of friends looking to have a good chill evening.
