Timberline glamping at Lula disc house was better than we could have imagined! We went on the coldest weekend of the year and were guided through unbelievable experiences since there were tons of activities for kids. The owners at the disc house helped us get the app to take us through the disc golf course Via GPS, which was priceless since we were newcomers to disc golf and would not have known the difference! The tent was pristine with all of the bougie accommodations that I would expect from a timberline clamping site. Our kids had a blast and we will be back!

Didn’t do the disc golf course, but the glamping tent sites are awesome. Clean linens, relatively big free, hammocks provided, comfy beds and beautiful. Loved every second!

We went glamping here for three nights, and booked three tents to accommodate three families. The entire site is nicely-sized, with plenty of room for our kids who ranged in age from 7 to 11 the freedom to roam around without going too far. They really liked the ninja obstacle course and slack lines. My daughter and I also enjoyed a dunk in the hot tub, which was a pleasant surprise to have! This was our second glamping experience, the first being in Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, AL. All the Timberline tents are awesome - comfy and beautiful - and these are no exception. At Lula, the bath house was very nice for a bath house - nicer than you typically find in state parks. Though the shower part and bathroom stall part was still concrete floor-rustic, there was an upscale tiled sink area and a nice bench and cubby area just outside the showers. Corbin was fun to chat with in the Disc House. He took excellent care of us throughout our stay. We rented add-ons like the picnic shelter - totally worth it - and the Blackstone Griddle - we cooked on nothing else the whole time. We didn't really do the disc golf except to the extent that a few of the kids in our group fooled around practicing getting their frisbees through the chains. But I could tell it was a cool course, if you're into that sort of thing. One downside was there are train tracks somewhere closeby and trains passing whistled quite loudly. For some reason the first night these trains were going past every hour, if not more! Even through the night, and those of us who I'd describe as medium-to-light sleepers didn't rest well at all. (Heavy sleepers seemed to have no trouble). The second and third nights were much better, with only a train or two, so I'm not really sure what was the norm? Earplugs are a necessity - take them just in case, and hopefully you won't need them!

This place is AMAZING! Great course and the ability to camp and hang out with friends is amazing. The disc shop is great to get a new or used disc for a great price! I can’t wait to go back!
