Was out there July 31st beautiful lake attended a birthday party went swimming looks like a great disc golf course can't wait to come back and go camping and fishing

A little off the beaten path for Emporia but it was the best we experienced. Basically you work your way around a lake so it is easier to follow the course. Not always easy but easier than most parks. Some holes had serious water hazards we passed on but if you are a serious disc golfer and don't mind losing discs, the challenge is there. We did it in the evening and the sunset and post sunset was beautiful on the lake for the back 9. Some mosquitoes but it was not brutal with mosquitoes as some parks in Emporia.
