Island Park

Some of my fondest memories were being taken to the holiday decorations at Island Park. Growing up. I was recently in town with my children and wanted them to experience some nostalgia with me! I was delighted to see that the boy fishing with the fishing pole and the fish jumping out of the water light display was still up! They thoroughly enjoyed a little piece of my childhood experiencing it with me!

An amazing place for kids! Quiet and serene. Multiple picnic areas and pavilions. Clean bathrooms!

I have a 6-year-old this place is absolutely fantastic my daughter loved the castle all the little stuff the storybook reading everything if you have kids take them it is definitely a very neat place and more than worth spending some time at

We've visited here quite a few times over the years and it's always been a peaceful pleasant experience. We like to walk the nature trails and enjoy the trees, shade and quiet. Can't really go wrong with nice quiet natural open spaces that you can enjoy for free. Way back, even found some old half submerged old antiques, kind of neat looking sinking back into the earth.
