If you ride this park on a skateboard, you'll probably want larger and softer wheels to feel comfortable; the flat is rough asphalt so it will kill your speed and the ramps are metal so it could get slippery. I ride it with 58mm 90A wheels and it feels manageable but it really feels crusty and slippery with my hard 53mm wheels. I prefer to come to this park for the awesome halfpipe it has. Two 4 ft sections separated by a double barrel spine and roll in. One of the 4 ft sections extends to a 6 ft section as well. The park needs a lot of love though to make it more safe and better accommodating--ramps and flat require full resurfacing.

Terrible park. Should rip it up up and just have it be flat ground or just stop pretending they care about skating in the county. Just skip this one.

Horrible ground, very rough, hard to get speed for anything. Hot metal ramps in the summer. I'm not sure why this place has been neglected for so long. Many residents of calvert county would love a modern, well maintained skatepark.

Park has some descent features, however the ground here absolutely ruins the experience. Calvert County Parks & Recreation definitely needs to spend some money on a CONCRETE skatepark, considering skateboarding is an Olympic event now!
