Pye Brook Community Park

In fairness, haven't played more than a dozen or so courses, but this is by far the worst of them. Almost feels abandoned. Mostly knee-high grass, with a lot much higher. tee boxes overgrown with weeds. All holes are par 3, even though they vary wildly in difficulty. No signs describing hole layout or marking the next tee. Signs refer to features that no longer exist, such as entire ponds (there are maybe seasonal?). Clouds of insects everywhere. Bizarre, confusing layout. Course inconveniently ends half a mile from where it begins. The solution is an almost 800' 19th hole, with a wooded path to access it that's just as long, and that I couldn't find due to overgrowth. The fact that it's deserted, has lots of spray-painted tee markers, and is ultimately just a huge field of weeds gives it a creepy, post-apocalyptic feel. In its current condition, avoid this course completely. There is literally zero recreational value, and it's arguably not even safe given the ruts, stones, etc. hidden by the tall grass, as well as the insane tick population. If it were to get a really good mowing/weeding in the fall, it'd still be a terrible course, but at least it would be playable and probably even a tiny bit enjoyable.

Disc golf course had potential but it was overgrown when I went. My brother in law and I both lost discs in the long grass. It was very difficult to find the tee/basket a few times, using the map on uDisc was essential

Beautiful park, with an amazing disc golf course, easy access from the rail trail as well as Haverhill Rd and Bare Hill Rd. Very well maintained with several baseball and soccer fields. There is also a bike trail around the outter perimeter but it needs some work, would be wicked fun to ride if it were clear.

Great disc golf course. Good for beginners to intermediates. A good mix of open field throws and technical wooded areas.
