It was a very nice, clean park. Good wooden playground. I could find 2 bathroom areas with drinking fountains. Its very close to the Mitchell lake in Cadillac. The water was a great temperature this past weekend and you could see the fish, pretty clearly. The seaweed was the only downfall I found. Lots of picnic areas. Some were shaded. Its close to the bike/walking trail that goes around the whole lake. Lifeguards are on duty on weekends. Very impressed. This is also walking distance from the campgrounds!

I don't have much to say about the whole park, it is right on the beach and has a nice play area. The park also has a mini disc golf course, and right across the road, it has a full course as well. I enjoy disc golf a lot, and after playing for roughly a year, I got my first ace playing here. If you're into disc golf, this place is one of my groups favorite courses to go to, strongly because of the location, but also because of the playing field it has. The course is decently difficult and has some nice shots.

I grew up coming here and I'll always have solid memories. Any time I'm back in the area, I try to stop by and go for a walk. It always makes me feel at home. I've been to a lot of other beautiful places, so it's not so high up on my list anymore, but I do still enjoy it! Lots of walking trails and overlook towers and a Disc Golf course as well!
