Much like it's brother park Lake Lansing South, Lake Lansing North has great views for picnics, walks or just to run and play! Out of county residents will pay a small fee to enter the park, but it all goes into maintaining the park! Giant play structure available for kids of all ages. Parking lot is big with plenty of parking options! Come spend an afternoon at Lake Lansing North!

The park opens shortly before sunset and closes slightly after sunset. The park offers a variety of services including disc golf, shelter rentals (3), hiking trails, a baseball diamond, and a playground. The disc golf course is 18 holes but they are all relatively short par 3. The hiking trails have some variety with the red trail being the shortest and the blue trail being the longest. My personal favorite trail is the orange trail which splits off from the green blue trail. I used to work here, regularly closing the park. Occasionally there are ruts that form at the entry which are graded regularly but do be cautious as you enter. The springtime offers a look at many nesting birds such as Sand Hill Cranes and Canadian Geese. The sunset over the marsh from just west of the main shelter is perhaps the best view of the sunset in the area. The restrooms are closed for a portion of the year due to freezing conditions and take some time to be un-winterized. There are 2 fire pits near the main shelter with ample firewood provided.

I visit this park regularly to walk the trails, which are the best and longest in the region. The longest trail is over three miles through beautiful, mature trees, wetlands, and moderate hills. Dogs on leash are permitted throughout the park. There are three picnic pavilions with tables and grilles that can be reserved, restrooms, and a large playground. There is also a ball diamond, sand volleyball court, and a disc golf course. There is an entrance fee.

Fantastic trails for hiking, trail running, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (rentals of skis/show shoes in the winter on Sat and Sun). I love this place and usually do the 3.8-mile blue/green loop hiking and recently started skiing there. The trails are very well defined so it’s easy to find your way around.

Love this walking trail. Lots of trails to choose from. You can hike for 2 miles or 5 miles. There are several places where you can extend the hike, and also where you can exit early. Beautiful paths. We'll kept up.
