I was excited to walk around this park as it had been recommended. Once I got there it became apparent there was no trail and only the road for cars and some areas to have picnics/hangout. There's mostly vast swaths of empty grass and some areas much further back that are overgrown.

Very nice park. Lots of open space and grass was well maintained. Some very nice picnic spots and has access to the Missouri River.

Either at the boat ramp or just walking across pelican Island is nice to spend some time. Seeing the difference in water level from week to week is a rewarding experience.
