Nice disc golf course. Easy to follow layout

Park is beautifully maintained for most of the year. The "rough" on the disc golf course could be cut back a bit more often, as it gets pretty long. The addition of a new shelter/pavilion is great, and a welcome addition. On site hard plumbed restrooms would be amazing, but the Porto John will have to do.

The main attraction at Karohl Park is the disk golf course, which is pretty nice. There are concrete pads, a map of the hole (with the direction to the next hole), and a place to hang your disk bag at every tee. Some holes have multiple tees and multiple baskets so you can play a slightly different course on return trips to keep things a little fresh. The fairways are mowed and walked on to keep the grass down, but if you don't keep your disk on the fairway, expect to be walking through taller grasses and trees to track down your disk. There is also a relatively new playground at Karohl Park for the younger kids to enjoy. They seem to particularly like the unique rope swing merry-go-round. It is pretty cool, but also hard to spin so be prepared to run to keep the kiddos smiling.

We love the disc golf course and we tried the park for our toddler and she loved it. They have this toy that you turn and it makes animal noises and gives facts about them.
