The bridge itself is the big highlight here, and wow is it gorgeous! There are inclines and they get extremely slippery in the winter. I’m sure fall leaves can have a similar effect. If you come in the winter get some spikes for your shoes and try to stay in the snow and away from the ice in the center of the trail. You can’t get lost here as there’s only 2 easy trails and are marked with a map at every intersection.

Phenomenal hike, definitely intermediate, about 660 feet of elevation change over 2.5 miles looped. Beautiful hike jo matter the time of year but best when there's a little running water. The rock bridge is gorgeous as is the shelter. Wildlife in abundance as well.

This place was really unique. The only reason I put 4 stars is that they need to work on the parking lot. There are maybe six legitimate parking spots and then after that you have to park on the side of a hill which is not very stable. They really need to expand the parking lot somehow. But after parking the trail is really nice and well constructed. At first, you may feel like you're in the wrong place, because it's just a meadow and then some woods but after a fairly decent hike, out of nowhere you see the rockbridge. The hike was a bit strenuous for our kids but it wasn't our first hike of the day. I'd highly recommend it for one of the must-see Hocking Hills sights. We'll be back for sure!

Great trails with decent elevation change. The first section leading from the parking lot isn't very interesting, but the woods and rock formations are quite nice once you get a little further in. The trails are well maintained, and there are boardwalks over a couple of rough areas. I walked both loops and went down to the river, and it was about 2.9 mi total. The trails are relatively easy for a moderately experienced hiker, and can be completed in a little over an hour even if you take time to snap a couple of pictures.

Ohio’s largest natural bridge. Moderate difficulty. If you’ve already visited Red River Gorge, this one might not be as exciting.
