Great park with lots of friendly dogs! Everyone had a communal attitude, and the dogs really enjoyed the play time. Unfortunately, there is little grass, but the dogs did not seem bothered. The obstacle course was basic, but our dog enjoyed it.

On Google Maps it mentions McAllister Park as having picnic tables. There are indeed picnic tables, but not under the gazebo things, rather out in the middle of an open field. 😆 Perhaps on a mild day it would be ok, but in 95degree Fahrenheit heat, baking on metal tables in the middle of an open field is not ideal.

Nice dog park. Lots of space. They closed the bigger portion for maintenance but the rest is still open. Wish they would put an opening date. The dogs need to spread out.

Dull and dreary with nothing to recommend it unless a festival or event is taking place. Basically a green parking lot.
