Very small state park, almost like a city park. I camped in site 27 which is right next to the main parking lot, and just 25 feet from the boat launch prep area, so no privacy. My electric hookup was also 20 feet away, when all the other sites had posts right next to the pad. Showers were fine.

While many state parks in Utah don't offer trees and green grass, Hyrum State Park is an exception. This state park is very nice and clean and offers the water sports enthusiast many opportunities to get out on a beautiful lake in a very pretty setting. If you have an RV that is greater than approximately 35-40 ft in length, there are only a few spots that will fit that also have water and electric hookups. If you don't mind. Boondocking, there are multiple places with a wonderful lake view.

Very nice campground on the lake. Only 10 sites have electric hookup. Beautiful scenery surrounding the lake.

We’ve stayed here twice, really enjoy the water front sites, nice evening breeze. Bathrooms clean as is park. Staff is always helpful. Now my 3 star rating. The host I guess mows the grass. I’ve never seen anyone mow the same spot around and around our and neighbors on both sides. Dust grass whatever, no blowing off sites. The unoccupied sites across from us never got mowed. Confusing, wouldn’t you wait until vacant? BUT man do the sprinklers run, water pooling and road soaked. Just seemed ignorant to me. Fact unoccupied sites had longer grass. Can be said mulching cover was on put it doesn’t stop some discharge. Get him a zero turn. PS where do you get potable water when sprinklers run.

My first low rating at a state park. Apparently I missed the memo... apparently you are supposed to bring dogs. Not dog... dogs. Mulriple. You leave them outside 24 7, never mind the 100 degree weather, and let them bark all day and night. I guess they also don't have leash rules there either. Real shame because it could have been a good spot. If you don't mind barking all day and night, give it a try
