It would be nice if the city would convert the cornfield into more park-like amenities. Some mulberry trees and gopher holes. Saw many gophers and a deer.

This is a tiny little "park-like" setting. There are stone picnic tables in two spots for two separate small families to have a picnic but not a large one. There are no grills, there is no parking for more than one vehicle at each spot. The Culpeper Garden Club has a few beautiful memorial bushes there for Fallen Armed Forces members and there is a tiny stone monument for Mr. Kestner. There is no playground, there is no water fountain, this is not a place to bring children. This is not a place to have a quiet lunch as the road is right there and as everyone knows road traffic is quite noisy. This is also very unsafe area for dogs because if they walk more than 5 feet from the tables they will get run over by cars. It is very well maintained other than the road, and the trash can. I would suggest this for older folks who don't want to hear kids screaming and dogs barking. Because there's no reason to bring a kid or a dog there. We will be returning.

Eat lunch and take a nap under the big shade daily. Quiet

It's a pull off set between a cornfield and a four lane road. It serves the purpose as a place to stop and stretch, but there's no bathroom or playground. It's a fine wayside stop, but calling it a park is a stretch.

Good place to pull off and eat your drive-thru meal without spilling it on your lap trying to drive and eat at the same time!
