Fort Steilacoom Disc Golf course is massive with some challenging baskets and beautiful scenery. Unfortunately it's also rather confusing and poorly marked. Many the signs by each basket are damaged by rain and no longer legible. It's also very difficult to figure out where to start unless you're with someone who's been there before. I had a lot of fun though and plan on returning.

Amazing Course!! Apparently there used to be 2 other courses here but the city took the land back and NOTHING with it. So....it can get kinda crowded on weekends. Still...very much worth it. Go HERE!!

This park has rich history and 3 great disc golf courses. Two of then are 18 holes and one is 9. Ball golf and foot golf are also played here. There is a peo shop with a lost and found and friendly staff as well. 4 stars because the items in the pro shop are spendy and the tee pad signs need updates and repairs.

This park contains three courses of varying length and skill level. There are two 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course. There is also a putting green located by the start of the NW course. The NW course offers decently wide fairways through a wooded area. This is probably the most difficult of the three courses as it includes many tightly wooded holes with small gaps. The tightly wooded holes are balanced out by the occasional more open hole that allows you to put more power behind a throw. Paring holes can be difficult for less experienced players so I encourage planning out your shots before throwing. Versatile players that are confident in many shots will do very well. Number of holes: 18 Par: 56 Course length: 6200 feet Average hole length: 344 feet Teepads: concrete The SE course is mostly open with a couple of long holes. There is enough trees to make shots interesting, but the holes are long enough to require a lot of long throws. I wasn't able to go under par on this course until I was able to throw more than 300 feet consistently. That being said, there are enough par four holes to give a birdie opportunity after a good drive. People that can throw far will have a large advantage on this course. Number of holes: 18 Par: 57 Course length: 6300 feet Average hole length: 350 feet Teedpads: concrete The Raymond Seick course (9-hole) is a great place to warm up. The holes are relatively short with enough trees to give an advantage to the more accurate player. As the course is shorter it is a good place to practice accuracy and speed control. Anybody that has a hard time toning back their shots will find themselves overshooting holes relatively easily. First time playing at Steilacoom and it will not be the last! I played the northwest 18 holes and as a pretty new player it was a very good combination of technical and simple holes. The course itself is beautiful and well maintained, I never saw any trash the players were all very friendly. Being new to the course I did get turned around a couple of times and struggled a tad to get to the right hole however the players were very kind and guided me to where the next hole was. Very wonderful course I can't wait to come again!
