At least they left one basket behind! its great for drive and putting practice! if I were a local id come back here daily! beautiful park otherwise as well, nice slope of a hill and it seems like theyre planting new trees.. Is that a community garden next door!? 🤩

This is a well placed neighborhood park. It is close to a school, bus line and families. Oddly, it has disc golf (which is why I visited). To that end, it is disappointing. In fact, MPT has no respectable DG courses (luckily there is Ft. Steilacoom...the best course in the state). However, Roosevelt Park can provide a decent practice area for DG. From the street there are several long drives you can make to the only visible basket. From there you can make several more challenging holes to the other three baskets

It's a basic Park you can walk around it they got a little bit of disc golf in a huge area you could play Frisbee bring your dog they have the poop bags. In the parking was nice and it wasn't crowded and that was a weekend trip

Park is maintained with the bare minimum, mowing, nothing more. Not the safest looking neighborhood either although we had no issues while there for 40 minutes or so around 3pm. Disc golf baskets are laid out strangely with no visible tees or basket numbers. Decent for basic throwing practice though. I'd be afraid of broken glass in the dirt tbh.
